PRN Advanced Life Support Instructor - ACLS/PALS

About the role

An Advanced Life Support Instructor at Munson Healthcare is a position for instructors who are certified to teach ACLS or PALS courses following the American Heart Association guidelines. The instructor possesses good communication and feedback skills. The instructor should teach at least two advanced courses per year for the Munson Life Support Training Center.

Responsibilities

• Teach ACLS or PALS courses following American Heart Association guidelines
• Provide clear communication and constructive feedback to students
• Conduct at least two advanced courses per year for the Munson Life Support Training Center

Qualifications

• Current American Heart Association ACLS or PALS instructor status required, or ability to obtain within one month of hire
• Current BLS provider status required, or ability to obtain within one month of hire
• Advanced EMT, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapist, RN, Physician Assistant or Physician licensure preferred
• Two or more years of advanced patient care required
• Critical care training preferred
