Private Wealth Senior Counsel

About the role

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Private Wealth Senior Counsel with a minimum of eight years of experience. This position is open in multiple offices, with a preference for candidates in Dallas, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Nashville, or St. Louis.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement sophisticated estate plans for individual and business clients
• Assist clients with all aspects of wealth management, asset protection, and gift and estate tax issues
• Work closely with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets business unit
• Deliver high-quality, personalized service with strong attention to detail
• Handle multiple projects effectively and demonstrate exceptional judgment
• Articulate legal strategies and courses of action with clarity and professionalism

Requirements

• Significant experience in designing and implementing sophisticated estate plans
• Experience assisting individual and business clients with wealth management, asset protection, and gift and estate tax issues
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, personalized service
• Excellent academic credentials, preferably with an active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying
• A demonstrated record of working well under pressure

We also provide a competitive salary, commensurate with qualifications and experience, ranging from $185,000 - $275,000 in certain states. For other markets, salaries vary based on market data.
