Private Wealth Senior Counsel

About the role

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Private Wealth Senior Counsel with a minimum of eight years of experience. This position is open to candidates in various offices, with a preference for those in Dallas, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Nashville, or St. Louis.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement sophisticated estate plans for individual and business clients
• Assist clients with all aspects of wealth management, asset protection, and gift and estate tax issues
• Work closely with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets business unit
• Deliver high-quality, personalized service with strong attention to detail
• Handle multiple projects with exceptional judgment and effective communication skills
• Articulate legal strategies and courses of action with exceptional judgment and effectiveness

Requirements

• Significant experience in designing and implementing sophisticated estate plans
• Experience assisting individual and business clients with wealth management, asset protection, and gift and estate tax issues
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, personalized service
• Excellent academic credentials
• A commitment to the community
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated record of working well under pressure
• An active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying, or commitment to obtain one as soon as possible

Benefits

Husch Blackwell offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and much more. The salary range for this position in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C. is $185,000 - $275,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data.
