About the role
We have an immediate opening for a Private Wealth Senior Counsel with a minimum of eight years of experience preferred. We will consider candidates for any of our offices, including our virtual office, The Link, however, candidates in Dallas, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Nashville, or St. Louis are strongly preferred.
The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Financial Services & Capital Markets business unit.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement sophisticated estate plans
- Assist individual and business clients with all aspects of wealth management, asset protection, and gift and estate tax issues
- Deliver high-quality, personalized service with strong attention to detail
- Articulate legal strategies and courses of action
- Effectively handle multiple projects while working well under pressure
Requirements
- Minimum of eight years of experience in private wealth law
- Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying, or commitment to obtain one as soon as possible
- Excellent academic credentials
- Superior interpersonal skills and demonstrated record of working well under pressure
- Exceptional judgment and ability to manage multiple projects

Pay
Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C. is $185,000 - $275,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data.
