Private Wealth Senior Counsel

About the role

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Private Wealth Senior Counsel with a minimum of eight years of experience. This position is available in multiple offices, with a preference for candidates in Dallas, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Nashville, or St. Louis.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement sophisticated estate plans for individual and business clients
• Assist clients with all aspects of wealth management, asset protection, and gift and estate tax issues
• Work closely with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets business unit
• Deliver high-quality, personalized service with strong attention to detail
• Handle multiple projects effectively and demonstrate exceptional judgment
• Communicate legal strategies and courses of action clearly and confidently

Requirements

• Significant experience in designing and implementing sophisticated estate plans
• Experience assisting individual and business clients with wealth management, asset protection, and gift and estate tax issues
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service
• Excellent academic credentials
• A commitment to the community and superior interpersonal skills
• The ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• An active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying, or commitment to obtain one as soon as possible

• Competitive compensation with a range of $185,000 - $275,000 in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C., commensurate with qualifications and experience
