About the role

The Private Wealth Management Trust Advisor and Trust Support Administrator roles at Regions are dedicated to building and maintaining personal trust, estate, IRA, and investment management client relationships. These positions require a combination of trust administration, estate/tax law knowledge, financial planning expertise, and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perpetual discovery and assessment of clients' financial situations to retain and grow client relationships
  • Generate new business opportunities through internal and external networking
  • Provide guidance and solutions for investment allocation, goals, and objectives
  • Stay updated on trends and developments in the trust and investment management industry
  • Oversee the setup, implementation, and administration of trusts, estates, IRAs, IMAs, and custody accounts
  • Coordinate client service activities with other wealth management partners
  • Manage multiple goals and deadlines simultaneously
  • Deliver and explain solutions with a high degree of influence
  • Present complex topics in a concise and effective manner

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
  • Five (5) years of Trust Administration, Estate/Tax Law, Financial Planning, or relevant experience including direct client interaction to deliver fiduciary services
  • Demonstrated knowledge of fiduciary products and services, including legal, tax, and regulatory requirements
  • Advanced degree (e.g., JD, LLM, CPA, MBA, Master of Taxation) preferred
  • Professional Certifications such as CTFA, CFP, AIF, CWS preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills

Pay and Benefits

The starting salary range for the Private Wealth Management Trust Advisor and Trust Support Administrator roles is $86,195.78 USD to $117,629.00 USD, with the target being $117,629.00 USD. The position is exempt from overtime pay but eligible for incentive pay and participation in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
