What You'll Be Doing

You are responsible for sourcing and acquiring new private wealth clients (individuals, family offices, endowments and foundations).

You will leverage your industry expertise and network to identify opportunities, foster partnerships, and deliver bespoke wealth solutions in collaboration with our talented team.

You will work closely with Relationship Managers, Investment and Wealth Specialists, Bankers, Business Development Team Members, and other internal partners.

How You'll Succeed

  • Business Development: Proactively identify, engage, and convert prospective clients.

  • Solution Delivery: Curate and partner with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to design and deliver solutions tailored to client needs.

  • Relationship Building: Develop, maintain and grow relationships with intermediaries, centers of influence and existing clients to generate referrals.

  • Market Development: Lead and organize promotional events, educational seminars and roundtables to develop new alliances and formal networks to grow CIBC’s presence in the wealth management space.

  • Collaboration & Service Excellence: Establish and maintain effective partnerships and teamwork to ensure a level of service delivery that is professional, seamless and timely.

Who You Are

  • An experienced wealth management professional with 10+ years of experience in wealth management, private banking or a related field.

  • A dynamic sales professional with a proven track record of acquiring and maintaining HNW relationships.

  • A strong network and demonstrated ability to effectively raise assets.

  • Able to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activity and industry updates impacting HNW clients.

  • A strong communicator with exceptional communication (oral and written), presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • A delivery style reflecting an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for growth.

  • Motivated by accomplishing your goals and delivering your best to make an impact.

  • Motivated by collective success.

  • Organized with exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking, problem solving and meeting deadlines.

  • A licensed professional with Active FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) required or must be obtained within 90 days.

  • A competitive total rewards package including an expected salary range of $150,000 – $190,000 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.
