About the role
CHANEL 57th Street Flagship Boutique is seeking a Private Salon Stylist with exceptional styling expertise to lead and host elevated client appointments in our Private Salon. The ideal candidate will have a discerning eye for fashion, a passion for creativity, and the ability to inspire both clients and team members through impeccable taste and personalized service. As the leader of the Private Salon experience, you will curate unforgettable moments, partner with Fashion Advisors to nurture lasting client relationships, and set the highest standards of excellence in every interaction.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional styling and personalized service by understanding each client’s unique needs and offering tailored product suggestions, ensuring every appointment reflects the highest standards of CHANEL excellence.
- Host and provide bespoke experiences exclusively for Top-tier, High Net-Worth, and other select client profiles, ensuring the highest level of CHANEL service and attention.
- Serve as a Fashion Curator for the NY Area, connecting across BTQs within the market to share inspiration, elevate the client experience, and foster a unified vision of CHANEL style.
- Support the presentation and styling of CHANEL collections by embodying and interpreting the creative vision, ensuring each collection resonates with clients.
- Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with BTQ teams to support client styling needs, share insights and feedback, and collectively achieve boutique objectives, strengthening lasting client relationships and driving overall success.
- Partner with the Boutique Leadership team to offer meaningful feedback on the boutique product assortment, while continuing strategic collaboration with VM, Merchandising, VIC, Fashion Expertise, and Events teams.
- Inspire clients and colleagues through a strong personal sense of fashion, style, and creativity, setting the standard for CHANEL elegance and innovation.
- Act as a trusted partner: host styling appointments, ensure an elevated and personalized experience stimulating cross-category sales.
- Support Fashion Advisors to foster relationships with VIC/Elite and High Net Worth Clients.
- Embody a genuine commitment to hospitality and client service at the heart of all interactions.
- Support Retail teams by providing styling advice, collaborating with key stakeholders on events, projects, and product launches.
- Partner with Fashion Advisors to strengthen their styling expertise: support client appointments and provide styling coaching.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of related experience.
- Minimum High School Diploma.
- Able to lift 15 lbs.
- Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion for the House of CHANEL, its history, product offerings, and commitment to social and cultural initiatives.

Pay
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $92,400 through $190,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay may be offered for this position. Other components may include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
