About the role

PwC Private is a division that assists private companies with various business advisory needs including audit, tax compliance, and planning. Our team helps design and implement personalized service plans for privately owned entities, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals. We assist with wealth management, compliance, cash flow management, equity expansion, divestiture, and exit strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new skills outside of your comfort zone.
  • Act to resolve issues that prevent the team from working effectively.
  • Coach others, recognizing their strengths, and encouraging them to take ownership of their personal development.
  • Analyse complex ideas or proposals and develop meaningful recommendations.
  • Use multiple sources of information, including broader stakeholder views, to develop solutions and recommendations.
  • Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet firm’s/client’s expectations.
  • Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
  • Develop a point of view on key global trends and how they impact clients.
  • Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.
  • Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points.
  • Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 4 years of experience
  • CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

Skills

  • Broad knowledge of partnership structures and transactions
  • Proficiency in US Tax Code sections for partnerships
  • Consulting and modeling for M&A and equity transactions
  • Marketing and business development efforts
  • Creating and leveraging complex spreadsheets
  • Writing and presenting to industry audiences
  • Managing engagements and balancing project economics
  • Leading teams to generate vision and trust
  • Innovating through new and existing technologies

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $99,000 - $266,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
