About the role

STXZ Lacrosse is a technology platform that connects families with independent lacrosse coaches across the United States. As an independent coach in Glen Allen, Virginia, you will receive client requests for private lessons, run the sessions on your own schedule, and handle lesson briefings through the platform.

How it works

  • When a family near Glen Allen requests lessons, STXZ sends you a client offer with details.
  • You review the offer and decide whether to accept—no quotas, no pressure, no penalty for declining.
  • If you accept, you contact the client within 24 hours.
  • You and the client agree on schedule and location (home, local field, park, etc.).
  • You run the session using your professional judgment for drills, pacing, and structure.
  • After the session, you submit a quick lesson briefing on the platform.
  • STXZ handles client acquisition, payment processing, billing, refunds, and disputes.

Compensation

  • $35 – $50 per one‑hour session, paid as a flat per‑lesson rate.
  • Rates are set by STXZ, vary by market and demand, and are confirmed in writing before your first lesson.
  • Payout within 24–48 hours after you submit your lesson briefing, via PayPal.
  • 1099‑NEC issued at year end if you earn $2,000 or more through the platform.
  • No guaranteed minimum number of lessons; lesson volume depends on client demand.

Schedule

Most lessons run weekday afternoons and evenings and on weekends. You work when you want and can pause your availability at any time.

Benefits

  • Liability coverage for platform‑booked sessions (program fee $30 per year, $0 down; fee recovered from first lesson payout).
  • STXZ handles client acquisition, matching, payment processing, billing, refunds, and dispute resolution.
  • Flexible control over your schedule, coaching methods, travel radius, and equipment choices.

Requirements

  • 18 or older.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
