Private Investigator

About the role

DigiStream Investigations is seeking a dedicated and skilled Private Investigator to join our team in the Sacramento, CA region. This position offers a unique blend of excitement, travel, autonomy, and purpose, providing evidence for clients dealing with fraudulent worker's compensation claims.

Responsibilities

• Conduct covert investigations and gather evidence
• Monitor, follow, and videotape subjects as part of daily activities
• Carry out vehicle and foot pursuits of subjects while maintaining cover
• Develop and execute surveillance strategies based on case details
• Write detailed reports and submit video evidence
• Communicate with team leaders about setup positions, activity, and tactics

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 21 years or older
• Average of 50 hours per week (including commute and drive time)
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight on remote assignments (as needed)
• Availability to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays
• Currently living in the Sacramento, CA area
• Pass DMV check and background check
• Confident driving skills

Pay

$20.00 per hour starting pay rate, with potential for overtime

Schedule

Full-time, 40-55 hours per week average, 10-11 hours per day average, depending on travel distance to the case and back to your home (commute time in the company vehicle is "on the clock").
