Job Summary
The Private Equity Client Relationship Manager serves as the primary relationship owner for institutional investors. This is not a sales role and not an operations role. It is a strategic, client-facing role focused on delivering accurate reporting, proactive communication, and operational excellence to sophisticated investors.
Qualifications and Skills
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or related field
- 3–8 years of experience investment management, investment operations / technology, investor relations, or other financial services roles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience communicating directly with clients or senior financial stakeholders
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with institutional investors (LPs) and fund managers (GPs)
- Exposure to multiple alternative asset classes
- Demonstrated experience improving reporting processes or internal workflows
- Familiarity with reporting or data visualization tools
- Prior experience of owning or co-owning client relationships
- Key Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to simplify complex financial information for sophisticated audiences
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
