Private Equity Attorney (Remote)

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Private Equity & Investment Funds Attorney to work on a contract basis. The role involves advising on fund formation, compliance, and transactional matters for private equity and investment funds.

Responsibilities

• Advise on the structuring, formation, and ongoing compliance of private equity and investment funds.
• Draft, review, and negotiate fund agreements, side letters, and related transactional documents.
• Provide legal guidance on regulatory requirements, including SEC and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
• Conduct due diligence for fund investments and transactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with legal and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in private equity or investment fund law, including fund formation and compliance.
• Knowledge of SEC regulations and other relevant financial regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex legal agreements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
