Private Equity Accountant II, PPM

About the role

The Private Equity Accountant II performs more complex accounting functions, including financial analysis, reporting, and compliance tasks. This role requires independent judgment and provides support for process improvements and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and analyzes financial statements and related reports.
• Conducts account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Assists with forecasting and cost analysis.
• Maintains fund credit facilities.
• Manages and takes action on the inflow of information and documents from fund investments, including capital call notices, capital distribution notices, partners' capital statements, and calculates management fees.
• Ensures compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
• Prepares month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reports.
• Supports internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Develops and implements process improvements for efficiency.
• Mentors and guides more junior accountants as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience required.
