Private Duty Nurse - Home Health

About the role

We are seeking passionate, committed, and patient-focused Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses invested in patients’ care to provide one-on-one nursing care in a home setting for the pediatric population (ages 0–20).

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-1 nursing care for pediatric patients.
• Monitor vital signs and deliver safe, competent care.
• Ensure the plan of care is reviewed and followed.
• Update the office regarding medication clarifications, changes in patient condition, and medical appointments.
• Educate families on medical care and provide training.
• Perform or enhance skills such as enteral feedings, tracheostomy care, ventilator management, etc.
• Complete EMR charting (no paper notes).

Requirements

• Active LVN/LPN/RN license in the state of Texas.
• American Red Cross CPR certification.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Ability to work in a home environment.
