Private Duty-Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Home Care

About the role

BAYADA is seeking Home Health Aides (HHAs) or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to serve patients in various locations. The pay range is $17-18/hour.

Responsibilities

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you'll provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Ranging of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Meditation reminders

Requirements

• Minimum one year work experience
• Current HHA - Home Health Aide certificate (at least 40-hour course) OR CNA License OR 1-year of hands on experience working as a caregiver or Home Health Aide (HHA)
• BLS Certified CPR (must be American Red Cross, American Heart Association, HSI, or American Healthcare Academy)
