Job Details

We are seeking a mid-level associate to join a finance-focused practice with an emphasis on private credit and lending transactions. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex financing matters, representing lenders and other market participants in sophisticated deal work.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on a variety of private credit and finance transactions
  • Represent lenders and other parties in structuring and negotiating financing arrangements
  • Work on transactions including cash flow deals, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and recapitalizations
  • Affiliate with drafting and negotiating loan agreements and related financing documents
  • Collaborate with team members on deal execution and transaction management
  • Support matters involving asset-based financings, restructurings, and workouts as needed

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in private credit, finance, or related transactional work
  • Strong background in lending transactions, with borrower-side exposure a plus
  • Experience with a range of financing structures and deal types
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Prior experience at a law firm or comparable legal environment
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Demonstrated ability to handle transactional work and collaborate effectively
  • Client-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
  • Admission to a the state bar where you will be practicing
