Private Clients Associate Attorney
About the role
Verrill is actively seeking an Associate to join our Private Clients & Fiduciary Services Practice Group in Boston, Massachusetts. As one of New England’s top full-service law firms, we are interested in hiring talented individuals to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with individuals and families to understand their priorities and goals and their intentions for the legacies they wish to achieve.
- Experience in aspects of estate planning, trust and estate administration and related tax work.
- Strong writing and research skills, and superior verbal/interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple complex projects, set priorities and meet competing deadlines, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- The desire to work directly with clients with the goal of establishing and maintaining long-term productive relationships.
Requirements
- Admission to the Massachusetts bar, or eligibility to obtain admission.
Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of experience in aspects of estate planning, trust and estate administration and related tax work.
- Recent law school graduates may be considered if they have demonstrated an interest in estate planning by taking relevant coursework.
Skills
- Strong writing and research skills.
- Superior verbal/interpersonal communication skills.

Pay
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $145,000 - $150,000. This is Verrill's good faith estimate of the annual salary for the position at the time of this posting for the indicated location. Final base salary will be determined by several factors including, but not limited to skills, experience, job-related qualifications and other market factors.
Schedule
Occasional travel dependent on business needs may be required.
