About the Role

Lathrop GPM is seeking an associate to join our Private Client Services practice group in St. Louis. The practice group works closely with individuals, families, and their professional advisors across the United States to accomplish their personal, financial, and philanthropic goals. Clients include executives, entrepreneurs, ultra-high net worth families, family offices, owners of family-owned and privately held businesses, banks and trust companies, and charitable organizations.

Responsibilities

• Estate and gift tax planning
• Estate and trust administration
• Charitable planning
• Family succession planning

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of estate planning experience
• Active Missouri bar license
• Strong academic credentials
• Exceptional analytical and writing abilities
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Strong interest in clients’ family, financial, business, and tax matters
