Private Client Banker - White Oak - Munster, IN
About the role
You will serve as the main point of contact for a select group of Chase’s affluent clients, as well as other customers in the branch. You will manage their complete banking relationship across the company, using a proactive and disciplined approach to grow their balances. Additionally, you will help acquire new clients by actively soliciting referrals and developing internal and external sources.
Responsibilities
- Share the value of Chase Private Client with eligible clients
- Actively manage banking relationships through an advice-based approach, ensuring clients receive tailored products and services
- Partner with Specialists (Private Client Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, and Business Relationship Managers) to connect clients with experts for specialized financial needs
- Enhance client convenience by setting up self-service options for 24/7 account access
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements
Requirements
- Demonstrated success using a value-added, relationship-oriented approach to acquire and deepen client relationships
- 1+ year of Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in financial services, with verifiable success in new client acquisition, relationship cultivation, and revenue generation
- Beginning October 1, 2018, if not currently registered, the Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (including 63 or 66 if required), and Life licenses are required—or must be completed within 180 days of starting the role
- Compliance with Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act
- High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- College degree or military equivalent
- Experience cultivating relationships with affluent clients
- Strong team orientation with a commitment to a long-term career with the firm
