About the role

The Private Client Group Account Manager manages new and existing affluent personal insurance clients through risk analysis, coverage comparison, and other proactive client services. The role requires an energetic, service‑focused, proactive, and self‑motivated individual, preferably experienced with affluent or high‑net‑worth books of business. The incumbent may work independently or as part of a team to provide client advocacy, client retention, and to write new client accounts or lines of coverage as needed while following HUB’s best practices and broker standards.

Responsibilities

  • Service day‑to‑day client needs, including fielding phone calls, email, and other communications related to coverage questions, policy changes, payments, cancellations, etc.
  • Manage the execution of all aspects of the client renewal process, including obtaining updated information, marketing, terms and pricing negotiation, quote review, presentation of renewal numbers to the client where applicable, and invoicing.
  • Regularly review client exposures and loss analysis, and design insurance programs that best meet clients’ needs.
  • Complete annual client reviews, updating risk exposures and making necessary changes to insurance plans.
  • Develop relationships with centers of influence—wealth managers, attorneys, realtors, and business owners—to obtain new clients.
  • Maintain a high level of client confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Assist producers with preparing proposals, quotes, and unique coverage solutions; attend client meetings.
  • Be available to receive client calls and make changes to insurance policies.
  • Work effectively and efficiently with other team members, including Producers, Assistant Account Managers, and other Private Client Group Advisors.

Qualifications

  • P & C Insurance Producer License (required).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Four or more years of insurance brokerage or property‑casualty insurance experience in an account‑management role (preferred).
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience.
  • No travel required.

Skills

  • Exceptional customer‑service skills, preferably with affluent or high‑net‑worth clients.
  • Strong reading comprehension and analysis abilities.
  • Strong data‑entry skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organization and follow‑up capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet applications.
  • Experience with the EPIC Agency Management System (preferred, not required).

Pay

The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 – $95,000, depending on geographical location, candidate experience, and other factors.
