Private Banking Relationship Manager - Houston, TX

About the role

We are seeking a Private Banking Relationship Manager to join our team in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for the growth, retention, and expansion of a portfolio of existing clients, as well as sourcing new customers through referrals.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the principal account and relationship manager for new and existing clients.
• Focuses on generating, managing, and servicing a portfolio of clients.
• Generates, retains, and expands business in loan and deposit products, investment and trust referrals, commercial business referrals.
• Performs credit analysis and proper loan structuring.
• Maintains a high level of client satisfaction.
• Develops and follows up on new client leads through existing clients, referrals from other bank departments and divisions.
• Calls on existing relationships to review portfolios and make recommendations as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related Private Banking experience and in a client-facing, relationship management role.
• Knowledge of banking, commercial lending, mortgages, investments, trusts, affinity and insurance products and services.
• Solid sales, self-management, credit analysis, loan structuring, applicant interviewing, and perceptive character judgment skills.
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A commitment to a high degree of service quality.
• Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Local candidates preferred.
