About the role

The Private Bank Service Specialist II, as part of Huntington Private Bank, is responsible for the day-to-day activities and interaction between the client and Huntington Bank in terms of establishment of documentation, maintenance, and servicing of the relationship. Partners with one or more Wealth Advisors to support the sales process and deliver exceptional service to high-net-worth clients. Maintains a detailed level of knowledge of products and services to provide Service Excellence. The role includes service coverage for multiple practices (Private Banking, Trust, & Investment Management) and requires focus on identifying, assessing, and managing risk while adhering to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with or leads special projects as requested by manager and partners.
  • Assists in training new and existing service specialists.
  • Acts as a key resource and mentor for other Service Specialists across the footprint.
  • Helps resolve complex support issues within the Region.
  • Provides administrative support for one or more high-end advisors, handling day-to-day activities and interactions between clients and Huntington, including establishment, documentation, maintenance, and servicing of relationships.
  • Maintains effective rapport with clients and Huntington personnel.
  • Services customers by providing detailed account information and disbursing funds as appropriate.
  • Identifies, researches, analyzes, and resolves complex account problems.
  • Makes routine decisions in the absence of an officer.
  • Advises and counsels clients on bank products and services.
  • Processes and maintains accurate and complete documentation for Advisor(s).
  • May attend meetings and presentations independently or with an officer.
  • Compiles information from various sources to prepare reports.
  • Communicates information by composing memos and correspondence to clients, officers, attorneys, agencies, and others.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of products and services and may train others.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
  • 2 years of customer service experience in banking or Wealth & Investment Financial Services.
  • Notary public certification (required when supporting a Wealth Advisor).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning, and follow-up.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Administrative experience in the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Huntington applications.

Schedule

This is a non-exempt position (eligible for overtime pay).

Workplace Type

Office-based with potential for a flexible work arrangement, combining in-office and remote work. Remote roles may have opportunities to come together in offices for key moments. Specific arrangements will be provided by the hiring team.
