About the role
The PositionA global company is seeking a privacy professional to support its global compliance and privacy function. The primary focus is on handling GDPR and data subject rights requests, working with Data Protection Authorities (DPAs), and managing privacy impact assessments.
Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of a growing GDPR and data subject rights workload, including complex DSARs
- Serving as a practical, business-facing privacy partner
- Supporting the development and improvement of the organization's broader privacy program
- Creating and maintaining business-facing privacy guidance
- Assisting with privacy-related contract provisions
- Conducting privacy impact assessments
Requirements
- Meaningful hands-on privacy experience, particularly with GDPR and individual rights requests
- Experience with OneTrust, global regulated organizations, or industries such as life sciences, healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or industrial businesses is helpful but not required
Qualifications
- Legal degree (JD) or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with data protection regulations, particularly GDPR
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Pay
The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $75 – $109 for attorneys and $61 – $87 for non-attorney candidates located in NE/NW/West Coast regions and $72 – $104 for attorneys and $58 – $83 for non-attorney candidates located in the SE/MW/SW regions.
Schedule
This is a 32-40 hours/week, fully remote position, with an East Coast preference to align with EMEA time zones. The duration is 6-12 months, potentially shorter depending on workload and need.
