Privacy & Compliance Senior Analyst

About the role

The City of Chandler Fire Department is seeking a Privacy & Compliance Senior Analyst to join their team. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a medical-related field, business administration, public administration, or related field, and 1 year of experience in patient care reporting or medication documentation review, including data compilation, analysis, and quality assurance of patient care reports. Additionally, the candidate must have at least one of the following certifications: NAAC Certified Ambulance Compliance Officer (CACO), NAAC Certified Ambulance Privacy Officer (CAPO), and NAAC Certified Ambulance Coder (CAC).

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze transportation patient care reports for compliance and quality assurance.
• Function as the department’s HIPAA and Billing Compliance subject matter expert.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the Chandler Fire Department’s Compliance Program.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a medical-related field, business administration, public administration, or related field.
• 1 year of experience in patient care reporting or medication documentation review, including data compilation, analysis, and quality assurance of patient care reports.
• NAAC Certified Ambulance Compliance Officer (CACO), NAAC Certified Ambulance Privacy Officer (CAPO), and NAAC Certified Ambulance Coder (CAC) certification within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Pass an Office of Inspector General exclusion list verification.
• Pass a driving record check.
• Pass a reference check.
