Responsibilities

• Advising companies on US federal and state privacy laws
• Developing internal data protection programs
• Conducting privacy assessments and building out data maps
• Performing data protection impact assessments
• Drafting privacy policies
• Negotiating data processing agreements
• Advising on cutting-edge or high-risk privacy issues, such as AI, adtech, health data, biometric data, and kids and teen data

Requirements

• Preferably 4-8 years of experience in privacy and product counseling
• Strong academic credentials required
• Prior peer law firm experience is a plus

Qualifications

• Experience advising companies on US federal and state privacy laws
• Experience with developing internal data protection programs
• Experience with conducting privacy assessments and building out data maps

Pay

The compensation range for this position is $260,000 to $420,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
