About the role

Prioritize patient care by facilitating timely prior authorization processes for medical services.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with insurance regulations.
  • Manage and update patient records in real-time to streamline the authorization process.
  • Communicate effectively with insurance companies to resolve authorization issues and ensure coverage.
  • Monitor and report on authorization trends to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare administration or insurance processing.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare policies and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of electronic health record systems.
  • Experience with healthcare billing and coding.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
