About Autajon Packaging Boston Located in the greater Nashua, NH area, Autajon Packaging Boston is a full-service packaging provider specializing in traditional folding cartons as well as a wide range of innovative packaging solutions. We proudly partner with renowned brands such as Lindt, Hershey, Godiva, and Ferrero Rocher. Our facility employs approximately 100 full-time team members year-round, along with an additional 80 seasonal employees. Position Summary JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The 2 nd Man is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the plant's production printing equipment and for assuring complete customer satisfaction with the quality of the printed product including exact color match. The 2 nd Man supports the Operator and helps to oversee the work of the Feeder. The 2 nd Man will run the Press in the absence of the Pressman. Principal Job Responsibilies Printing Press Operation – high speed sheet fed printing press Supports the Printing Pressman in all aspects of the press operationHelp to oversee the work of the FeederHangs plates on pressLoads ink in pressPerforms frequent color match utilizing computerized equipmentIs responsible for press speed and the efficient use of the pressPerforms frequent quality checks and approvals as per policyInspects the finished product for quality prior to its moving on to Die CuttingHelps to keep the work area clean and orderly Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Requirements JOB REQUIREMENTS High school education or GED required. Previous Experience In Sheet Fed Printing Required Ability to read and write and communicate in English in order to follow written and verbal job instruction Ability to work effectively in a team environment Must be attentive to detail with excellent eye for color Excellent mechanical aptitude Excellent manual dexterity Must be able to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive manual tasks Must be able to comprehend and follow all job procedures and safety protocols Benefits ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/BENEFITS Salary: $30-$35 per hour (depending on experience) What's in it for you?
