Responsibilities
- Mastering essential duties such as loading and unloading print films for various print runs
- Monitoring the printing of films to swiftly identify any issues
- Assisting with transfers during print runs
- Supporting operators with the washing of rolls and cylinders
- Retrieving and changing out print cylinders
- Staging ink materials
- Documenting returned inks
Requirements
- A keen ability to visually discern print problems on a moving web
- Basic reading and writing skills
- An ability to grip, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- An ability to use hand tools including wrenches, wipers, and utility knives
- An ability to stand for extended periods between breaks
