Printing Press Operator

We are actively hiring for the position of Printing Press Operator for our plant in Arlington, TX. Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday - Friday. Pay Rate: $22 - $30 Please note: Compensation decisions are made in accordance with applicable state and federal laws and are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and education. Duties And Responsibilities Read job orders from IMS system to determine job priorities, specifications, and to plan out workload for the day. Clean and set up the press machine according to the designated print job. Create a ready batch for each run processed on the press machine. Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary. Maintain records such as daily production records using specified forms and entering the finished process to show in IMS software time and date of completion. Communicate with coworkers and management team to ensure all duties assigned are completedReport all workplace hazards to management immediatelyEnsure all equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and is free of any safety hazardsMust be available for any required overtime based on business needsMust be proactive with completing other duties as assigned Qualifications At least 4 years of experience in printing and production process.Understand press machine printingUnderstand the imaging layouts and quality of printed jobsAttention to detailAbility to read, write, speak & understand EnglishAbility to communicate effectively with team membersAbility to use correct hand/power tools and safe use of theAbility to adapt to changing prioritiesAbility to recognize safety issues & corrective actions Physical Requirements Able to lift up to 50lbs (50% of time)Able to stand for 8 hoursWalking and moving around work-area (50% of time) For further information on the Digital Room, please explore our website www.digitalroominc.com What are the perks and benefits of working at Digital Room?
