About the role
Possibly leading the pack, this role requires operators to safely manage printing press operations, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead safety initiatives and operate press lines, including changeovers, start-ups, runs, and shutdowns.
- Support operations towards achieving world-class standards, focusing on safety.
- Operate presses according to customer and manufacturing specifications, maintaining accuracy in paperwork such as production reports, job verification sheets, ink usage sheets, QA reports, roll tickets, and S.O.C sheets.
- Direct and train the press assistant to efficiently handle assistant duties as outlined in the training matrix, emphasizing product safety.
- Comply with 5S and WCM initiatives, participating in cross-training and moving to the work.
- Perform duties as directed by supervisors or management.
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing and machine operation experience preferred.
- Experience with quality checks, machinery adjustment, and compliance with specifications.
- Knowledge of computers and relevant software.
- Adequate math, measurement, and reading skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform detailed visual inspections and use measurement devices.
- Commitment to teamwork, safety, and quality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Pay
$36.00 - $40.00 per hour based on experience.
Schedule
12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 shift schedule rotating bi-weekly from days to nights.
