Printing - Feeder (A Shift, 7am - 7pm)

About the role

Reporting to the Printing Shift Supervisor, the Feeder is responsible for unpacking molded product and assisting with teardowns. A fully qualified Feeder may perform one or more of the following responsibilities at any given time.

Responsibilities

• Unpack product from boxes and fill in-feed elevators or in-feed spin bars
• Fill in for other feeders on their lunches and breaks
• Maintain supply of boxes and U-boards for press operator
• Assist Press Operators with teardown
• Ensure that machines and the area around the machines are clean
• Assist operator in copy changes and mechanicals
• Assist in clean-up of press and area
• Keep operator informed of variation in molded product
• Perform other job duties as assigned

Requirements

• Fluent in English with good written and verbal communication skills
• Good PC skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to train and progress to Printing Operator
• Ability to work overtime as required based on customer demand
