About the role

Carolina Poly, Inc. in Chester, SC, is currently seeking a Printer Tech to join our team. Carolina Poly produces several lines of plastic products including high-quality trash bags and construction films. Carolina Poly is a new facility that is part of an established nationwide manufacturing company that can provide growth and advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Tracks and orders supplies/materials
• Maintains inventory and ensures materials are replenished as needed
• Maintains equipment by performing routine maintenance tasks
• Performs light maintenance on the production equipment
• Supports the manufacturing team by providing general assistance
• Produces sample packaging to test different materials and designs
• Runs production trials to ensure safety and functionality
• Assists with other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• One year experience in a manufacturing company preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
• Able to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks
• Able to learn and understand Carolina Poly processes and procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work flexible hours including rotating shifts

Skills

• Strong attention to detail
• Basic computer skills
• Physical stamina for manual labor

Pay

$17.50 per hour

Schedule

The Printer Tech works a yearly set schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off with 12 hour shifts. The days of the week worked will rotate from week to week. Candidates must be available to work each day of the week.
