About the Role

As a Field Service Technician, you will deliver exceptional service and efficiency in the routine maintenance of Canon-supported products, adhering to Service and Parts Standards. This customer-facing role requires compliance with customer policies, including COVID-19 vaccination and related measures.

Responsibilities

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues to your manager with accurate documentation and record-keeping.
• Meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate field, shop, or on-site maintenance.
• Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and assigned Canon property.
• Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Maintain the performance of assigned machines to help achieve branch/district metric targets.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments.
• Successful completion of the 120-day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new-hire class.
• Ability to travel; valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
• Must obtain any security or other clearances required by customers to access their premises.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and remain active (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling) more than 50% of the time.

Pay

Anticipated base salary range: $19.00–$26.50 per hour. This role is eligible for a transportation allowance.
