Printed Circuit Board Technician

Duties

• Soldering and populating circuit board components (resistors, capacitors, inductors, and integrated circuits)
• Assembling RF, DC, and digital wiring, cables and connectors
• Bonding and packaging of multi-layer circuit boards
• Measuring circuit board components performance

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 0 to 1+ years of experience

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred
• Aerospace industry work preferred

Benefits

May require a security clearance.

Pay

$18-25 / hour depending on experience.

The Applied Electromagnetics Division of Applied Research Associates, Inc., is seeking Printed Circuit Board Technicians for locations in Lafayette, CO and Huntsville, AL facilities. This is an entry level position that offers an excellent opportunity to grow and learn many new skills.

Skills

Small-scale repetitive tasks often performed under a microscope and requiring an eye to detail and quality. Operates electrical and RF diagnostic test equipment to troubleshoot or evaluate hardware performance as well as manufacturing shop equipment and common hand tools to build or modify various parts.
