About the role

Printech Packages is a complete printing and packaging solution provider based in Karachi. The company is currently hiring for two key positions within its supply chain and utility management teams.

Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Supply Chain

• Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4 – 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in the packaging and manufacturing industry will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics operations.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials to support production plans.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and vendor performance evaluations.
• Monitor inventory levels and minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
• Cook closely with Production, Sales, and Finance departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Analyze supply chain KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.

Deputy Manager / Manager – Utility

• Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline.
• 5 – 8 years of utility management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of industrial utility systems.
• Experience in preventive maintenance planning and energy management.
• Familiarity with HSE standards and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of utility systems including boilers, compressors, chillers, generators, HVAC, water treatment plants, and electrical distribution systems.
• Ensure uninterrupted utility services to support production operations.
• Monitor utility consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance plans for utility equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Manage utility budgets, contractor performance, and resource allocation.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of utility-related breakdowns.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
