Print Production Specialist (In-Person)

About the role

This position works directly with customers to create designs, file preparation, layout, and setup. Other duties may include creating promotional materials, assisting with sales transactions, and training other center personnel.

Responsibilities

• Create promotional materials such as multimedia presentations, banners, newsletters, flyers, signs, posters, and business cards.
• Consult with customers on their graphics needs.
• Absorb customer requirements into final products and services.
• Train other center personnel to use applications.
• Assist with sales transactions.
• Communicate clearly with customers by phone, by email, and in-person.
• Demonstrate knowledge of emergency policies and procedures.
• Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements

• Excellent graphic design and page layout skills.
• A professional design portfolio, preferably including business-related graphics products.
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc).
• Presentation (Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides).
• Spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets).
• Word processing (Microsoft Word, Google Docs).
• Strong background with Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of EFI Fiery and EFI Fiery Impose preferred.
• Production Experience Necessary - Print, Cut, Finish, etc.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
• Multitasking – must have the ability to simultaneously process multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, associate’s degree or design certificate preferred.
• Experience with bulk mailing software and procedures preferred.
• Computer hardware and software installation and troubleshooting skills preferred.
