Prinect Application Specialist What We Are Looking For The Prinect Application Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering engaging training programs that help customers maximize the value of the Prinect Production software suite. This role combines customer training, workflow implementation, technical support, consulting services, and sales support to ensure successful customer adoption and optimization of Heidelberg's print production solutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, enjoys solving complex workflow challenges, and thrives in a fast-paced customer-focused environment. Description Conduct in-person, virtual, and hybrid customer training sessions covering Prinect software modules and print production workflows.Configure and implement Prinect software solutions within customer print production environments, including advanced workflow automation and integration.Analyze customer workflow requirements and recommend solutions that improve operational efficiency and productivity.Troubleshoot technical issues during implementations and training engagements and collaborate with Technical Assistance Center (TAC) teams on escalated issues, feature requests, and software enhancements.Perform workflow audits and provide professional services designed to identify waste, improve efficiencies, and optimize customer operations through the use of Prinect software.Create and maintain training materials, user guides, best practices documentation, and project status reports.Assist Sales Representatives and Project Managers by evaluating customer requirements, qualifying opportunities, and setting implementation expectations.Provide expertise across all print production departments including Prepress, Pressroom, Postpress, Customer Service, and Computer-to-Plate (CtP) operations.Build strong customer relationships while delivering exceptional service and support throughout the customer lifecycle. Requirements Technical training experience with the ability to communicate complex software concepts clearly and effectively.Strong understanding of print production systems and workflow automation.Knowledge of print shop operations including Prepress, Pressroom, Postpress, Customer Service, and CtP environments.Experience with Prinect Production Manager strongly preferred.Experience implementing industry-standard prepress systems or working for a printing technology software vendor preferred.Graduate of a recognized Print Management program preferred.Excellent presentation, training, communication, and customer service skills.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to travel extensively to customer locations as needed. Up to 50% travel required. Salary $85,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience.
