Principle Project Manager

About the role

As a Principle Project Manager, you will join Westinghouse's America's Engineer Solutions team. You will manage projects within the ESS organization where you will implement design changes and provide detailed engineering support for operating plants. The Senior PM will be responsible for all project management processes on high complexity, high revenue projects. Example project disciplines include Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Structural, Thermo/hydraulic, piping), Field Services, Software, and Process Improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete all aspects of planning process including authoring project plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines.
• Based on project plan, follow department protocols for acquiring team members to complete the work.
• Manage all aspects of project including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and partners.
• Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements, and subsequent changes, to teams following an integrated change management process.
• Ensure you keep the team, customer, and all partners informed of status through coordinating project communications.
• Maintain project databases and procedures to ensure efficient handling and transmission of project correspondence and documentation between project team members.
• Close project by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems/tools.
• Perform final project quality assessment and report out.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a project manager.
• Bachelor's degree required. Applicable disciplines are Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related technical discipline.
• Advanced degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Business preferred.

Pay

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $103,200 to $129,000 per year.
