About the role

The way people work is being fundamentally reimagined. Enterprises and organizations are moving beyond traditional desktops toward intelligent, cloud-native workspaces that adapt to how people actually work—powered by AI, secured by design, and delivered anywhere. Amazon WorkSpaces is at the forefront of this transformation, offering a portfolio that includes WorkSpaces Personal, WorkSpaces Core, and WorkSpaces Applications. AWS is seeking a Worldwide (WW) GTM Specialist to drive the next chapter of growth for Amazon WorkSpaces.

You will shape the strategy for how AWS brings intelligent workspace solutions to market—defining the vision, building compelling customer and GTM/sales strategies, and orchestrating programs that help accelerate customer adoption at scale. You'll be charting new territory: identifying emerging customer needs, building the GTM motions around services and solutions, and rallying cross-functional and field teams to execute with speed and agility.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the GTM strategy for Amazon WorkSpaces—identifying high-value customer segments, developing differentiated customer solutions, and building programs that help create new customer pipeline, drive new customer acquisition and accelerate usage of cloud workspaces and applications.
  • Shape the narrative around the future of intelligent workspaces—positioning AWS as the leader in agentic, AI-enhanced work environments that transform workforce productivity and security.
  • Engage directly with enterprise leaders and partners to communicate the Amazon WorkSpaces value proposition connecting business challenges to measurable outcomes.
  • Build and scale lighthouse engagements that generate compelling proof points, then operationalize those wins into repeatable plays for the broader sales organization.
  • Establish data-driven mechanisms to measure adoption, track program effectiveness, and continuously optimize ROI across the Amazon WorkSpaces portfolio.
  • Evangelize Amazon WorkSpaces externally through thought leadership, events, and industry engagement—and internally across AWS to drive mindshare and investment.
  • Own the strategic business development plan, orchestrating key internal stakeholders (sales, product, engineering, legal, support, partners) to align behind a unified growth agenda.
  • Orchestrate field uptake and execution of key sales plays and programs, delivering value to customers through repeatable mechanisms.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of working with Business Application Technologies, including, but not limited to End User Compute (EUC), Supply Chain, Contact Center as a Service, Consumer Data Applications, Encrypted Communications, and/or Communication Developer Services experience.
  • 7+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.
  • 7+ years of technology sales selling enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner.
  • Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations.
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations across leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with cloud computing or web services or related areas.
  • Experience negotiating complex deals with customers and partners or equivalent.
  • Experience conducting in-depth analysis of issues at a selling partner or customer level and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Experience developing technology solutions and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing.
