Principal UX/UI Product Designer

Shape the future of Enterprise software at Citrix as a Principal Product Designer. Collaborate with global teams to create intuitive and innovative solutions for administrator and end-user experiences across cloud and on-premises products.

Responsibilities

• Drive key design initiatives and build strong relationships with product and engineering stakeholders, effectively advocating for design excellence
• Leverage UX design, research, and strategy expertise to influence product strategy and communicate design decisions across teams
• Champion user-centered design by partnering with Product Managers, Content Designers, and Engineers throughout the design process, from ideation to implementation
• Proactively seek to understand user needs and translate insights into impactful solutions
• Explore the future of products and push boundaries through vision projects
• Contribute to the design system, mentor other designers, and stay ahead of emerging design trends and technologies

Requirements

• Proven track record of leadership with 12+ years of product design experience, focused on enterprise software solutions
• Deep understanding of design thinking, user-centered design principles, and design systems
• Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI-powered tools (Figma Make, Claude Code) to accelerate designs with functional prototypes
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including creating high-quality components, auto-layout, and variables
• Exceptional ability to clearly and persuasively communicate design concepts to product and engineering leadership
• Experience leading and managing cross-functional design projects
• Strategic thinking to analyze complex challenges and develop innovative design solutions
• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience (or equivalent: Master’s with 8 years, or PhD with 5 years) and a strong portfolio showcasing extensive product design experience

Pay

• New York: $203,654–$305,480
• California: $212,509–$318,763
• All other U.S. locations: $177,090–$265,636

Compensation may vary based on location, qualifications, and job-related factors. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonuses and sales incentives.
