Responsibilities
- Lead experience design for complex clinical workflows spanning multiple products, user roles, and care settings.
- Define experience strategy that aligns clinician needs, business priorities, AI capabilities, and technical constraints.
- Design AI-enabled clinical experiences that simplify decision-making, reduce friction, and surface the right information at the right time.
- Reimagine traditional healthcare workflows by identifying opportunities where AI can automate repetitive tasks, guide clinician action, surface meaningful insights, and reduce administrative work while maintaining clinician trust and oversight.
- Create thoughtful interaction models that balance intelligent automation with transparency, explainability, and human judgment.
- Invent and pilot new internal tools, design methods, and team workflows that improve how the organization researches, prototypes, validates, and delivers clinical experiences.
- Champion systems thinking by ensuring experiences feel cohesive across multiple Oracle Health applications, products, and technology platforms.
- Create scalable interaction patterns that strengthen the Oracle Health Design System.
- Rapidly prototype, validate, and iterate on AI-enabled concepts through collaboration with users and cross-functional partners.
- Advocate for accessibility, usability, and evidence-based design throughout the product development process.
- Mentor fellow designers through design critiques, collaboration, and informal coaching while elevating design quality across the organization.
Qualifications
- Significant experience designing complex enterprise software, healthcare technology, or other workflow-intensive products.
- Exceptional UX, interaction design, information architecture, and systems thinking skills.
- A portfolio demonstrating sophisticated design craft across complex products and end-to-end user experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead large, ambiguous design initiatives from discovery through delivery.
- Experience designing across multiple products or platforms while maintaining consistency and usability.
- Strong ability to influence product strategy and technical direction without direct authority.
- Experience working with enterprise design systems and creating reusable interaction patterns.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to simplify highly technical or clinically complex workflows into intuitive user experiences.
- Comfort experimenting with AI-enabled design practices, internal tools, and new methods of working.
