Maintains deep expertise in transmission planning and advanced analytical methods
Leads complex calculations, modeling, workflows, and QA/QC for major projects
Guides process improvements and helps develop new standards and procedures
Communicates technical concepts clearly to leaders, clients, and stakeholders
Manages large cross-functional projects, identifies risks, and drives mitigations
Serves as primary client contact and ensures compliance with industry standards
Mentors engineers and technicians; develops documentation for knowledge transfer
Supports major proposals and contributes to industry committees and presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited university required
- 15 years of related experience (may be reduced to 12 years for well qualified individuals with a Professional Engineering (PE) License, or P.Eng License)
- Knowledge of multiple engineering analysis software packages such as PSSE, PSLF, PSCAD, ASPEN, ETAP, TARA
- Professional Engineering (PE) License, OR P.Eng License
