Principal Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and test programs for IP within the chip.
• Design ATE loadboards for multi-gigahertz range.
• Execute PVT (Process, Voltage, Temperature) characterization, first silicon bring-up, and IC qualification.
• Utilize statistical data processing and design of experiments (DOE) to enhance yield and drive down test time and manufacturing costs.
• Partner globally with analog/digital design, product engineering, quality assurance, and offshore assembly/test subcontractors (OSATs).
• Oversee production release, define test limits, and manage customer support or customer returns.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in test engineering, preferably in semiconductor or automotive industries.
• Experience with ATE systems and test equipment.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor process technology, including PVT characterization.
• Experience with DOE and statistical analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

• $100,000 - $120,000 annually.
