Principal Test Engineer

About the role

deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Principal Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Support the GWS-GSS IPT.
• Schedule tests for execution.
• Monitor, measure, control and report on test progress, product quality status and test results.
• Adapt the test plan and compensate as needed to adjust for evolving conditions.
• Design, develop, implement, and execute test plans, integration plans, and procedures to complete system-level integration testing.
• Understand and interpret requirements and test guidance to complete system-level integration testing.
• Develop testing criteria to successfully satisfy requirements.
• Develop in C++.
• Use Python and other scripting languages.
• Use Eggplant or other GUI based toolset.
• Use Gitlab or Bitbucket.
• Travel up to 10% to support business needs.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 3 years of related experience, or 1 year of experience with a PhD.

Skills

• Security+ certification.
• GMD/MDA experience.
• Java experience/understanding.
• Experience using Cameo.
• Active, in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret clearance (active Secret security clearance required).
• U.S. Citizenship.
