This role is responsible for leading Agile Product Manager Engineering efforts, mentoring junior engineers, and working extensively with Agile Development teams and customer stakeholders in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the team liaison between program management, engineering, logistics, mission assurance, and customers.
  • Manage program-level scope, issues, risks, and quality management.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to customers, management, and other program stakeholders.
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem-solving with program managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Drive engineering process development, continuous improvement, and affordability initiatives related to the specific program.
  • Collaborate frequently with internal and external contacts for quality check inspections and create and maintain documentation.
  • Represent the organization on specific projects and track metrics; may make presentations to small groups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s of Science degree with 5 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 3 years of experience supporting the Department of Defense.
  • Experience working in Agile (SAFe) environments as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
  • Experience in leadership and project management.
  • Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost, and achieving all requirements as project lead (technical or manager), integrated program team, or cost account manager.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), including presentation skills.
  • U.S. citizenship with an active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance that was active within the last 24 months.
  • Must possess or acquire DoD 8570 certification for IAT Level II or higher prior to or within 3 months of the start date.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership, and/or process improvement.
  • Experience using Jira and Kanban.
  • Strong knowledge in the Cyber/IT field.
  • Collaborative style with a strong sense of urgency and desire to get things done, with flexibility to adapt in a fast-changing environment.
  • PMP Certification (Primary Level).

Relocation assistance may be available. This position requires full-time onsite work at the Tampa, FL location; no telework is available. Travel is estimated at 10% of the time. The position requires a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Pay

Salary range: $98,400.00 – $147,600.00. Northrop Grumman considers factors such as position scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions when determining base salary offers. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may be available in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results.
