About the team

The Enterprise People Technology team at Walmart Global Tech leads the deployment and adoption of advanced People technology solutions impacting millions worldwide. Focused on Compensation, People, and Associate Digital Experience, the team drives continuous improvement by supporting managers and associates in prioritizing customer and member needs. Utilizing expertise in program and project management, risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement, and technical design, the team delivers scalable, high-quality initiatives that promote operational excellence and business success across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage large-scale technical programs, coordinating cross-functional teams and resources to meet delivery goals.
  • Develop and maintain detailed program plans, including stage gates, critical paths, and key deliverables.
  • Translate product requirements into technical designs, ensuring scalability, performance, and operational excellence.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolve dependencies, and drive issue resolution to maintain program momentum.
  • Communicate progress and align stakeholders through clear, concise reporting and engagement.
  • Mentor team members on best practices and promote continuous improvement in program execution.
  • Drive automation and process enhancements to optimize workflows and delivery outcomes.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in program and project management, including risk and stakeholder management across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven ability to define and drive large-scale program plans, managing dependencies, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Strong technical expertise in system design, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and software lifecycle management.
  • Skilled in communicating complex technical and program information clearly to multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities using data-driven analysis and impact assessment.
  • Ability to mentor teams, promote operational excellence, and implement scalable processes.
  • Proficient in aligning program goals with business strategy and driving measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area and 6 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
  • Option 2: 8 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Project Management.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, with specialization in strategy, supply chain, finance, information systems, or related area and 4 years’ experience in product design.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and stock for certain positions.
