Principal Technical Program Manager, Alexa for Shopping

About the role

Amazon Conversational Search is the new LLM-based feature in the Amazon App/Desktop, allowing customers to engage with Amazon in natural language conversations. We are seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to deliver critical programs for the infrastructure behind this feature and to develop new customer experiences in this space.

Key Responsibilities

• Running high visibility programs across multiple teams in Alexa for Shopping organization.
• Managing stakeholders across these teams as well as senior leadership of Search and related organizations.
• Mentoring and growing other technical leaders to help them scale and lead mission-critical initiatives.
• Using data and key metrics to drive improvements that enhance operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects.
• Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $177,000.00 - $239,400.00 annually.
