Responsibilities
- Tracking, reporting, and managing program scope, cost, and schedule execution
- Apply Earned Value Management principles to provide accurate Estimate to Complete (ETC) updates
- Provide monthly variance analyses for associated Control Accounts
- Identify and manage Risks and Opportunities for assigned subsystems
- Collaborate to capture, analyze, decompose, and trace system requirements
- Leverage JIRA to decompose epics and features into user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Plan and execute project-level work to meet schedules, costs, and performance goals
- Manage technical risks by evaluating design aspects and requirements
- Represent the Systems Engineering team in customer and internal meetings
- Bridge the gap between functional discipline groups and internal/external stakeholders
- Engage in classified lab environments to apply your expertise hands-on (On-site presence required.)
- Occasionally travel to support program requirements
Qualifications
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations + 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field + 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
- Active and transferable U.S. Government DoD Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Leadership and mentoring experience systems engineering teams
- Effective communication skills with all levels of management, program team members, and external stakeholders
- Proven track record in capturing customer requirements, operations concept development, deriving and tracing system and sub-system requirements
- Proven track record as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
- Experience conducting root cause analysis and corrective actions
- A strong understanding of the Systems Engineering Development Life-Cycle
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MBSE tools like MagicDraw CAMEO, Rhapsody, or Enterprise Architect
- Expertise in building complex SysML models, including developing activity, state, block diagrams, use cases, etc
- Proficiency in Excel Macros and Visual Basic
- Agile experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or other Agile leadership roles
- Knowledge of Project Management, Control Account Management (CAM), and earned value
- Familiarity with bidding and project/task estimation tools (e.g., SEER products)
- Competence in peer review processes, configuration, and change management
- Understanding of military concepts of operations or radio performance standards

Pay
The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD.

This is an onsite role that will support our Richardson, TX location.
