Principal Systems Engineer (Onsite)

About the role

The Principal Systems Engineer in the Space System Product line will work as an individual contributor as part of a multi-disciplinary team to create engineering solutions for a space payload. Responsibilities include working across the development cycle, supporting key customer milestones, and collaborating with other talented engineers to solve challenging problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform system engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, IV&V, Environmental Testing)
• Support the entire systems engineering lifecycle
• Work with other engineers to solve challenging problems
• Support key customer milestones

Requirements

• Must currently possess an active US Government Secret clearance (with ability to possess TS).
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience with BS, 6+ years with MS, 4+ years with PHD in relevant field.
• Experience performing system engineering activities across the development cycle.
• Test equipment and Hardware integration experience.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Qualifications

• Active US Government Top-Secret/SCI clearance preferred.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related engineering discipline and 11 years of experience preferred.
• RF Domain Knowledge preferred.
• Prior experience working on space qualified hardware preferred.
• Familiarity or experience with Agile Methodologies and Tools preferred.
• Model based systems engineering experience with tools such as Magic Draw preferred.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762

Schedule

This position is based out of our Hudson NH and Merrimack NH facilities and may require collaboration with staff across our business areas and facilities in the Northeast. This position will be performed full-time on site.
